WHAT TO EXPECT:
What to expect: Weekly themes related to pregnancy and child birth, traditional movement exercises, yoga postures, and breathwork plus meditations and relaxation to support you on your childbearing journey.
IN STUDIO
Our studio is located in Corner Brook, NL at the Veitch Wellness Center (328 O'Connell Dr.) on the second floor (there is an elevator). There is ample parking and all of the yoga props you will need (mats, bolsters, blocks, blankets) - Just bring yourself, wear comfy clothes, a bottle of water to stay hydrated.
For your convenience - when you sign up for the in-studio classes, you still receive access to the ONLINE community. In case you can't make it to the studio you can join via the LIVE virtual room... if you miss a class - you will have access to the recording.
ONLINE
You will receive access to the exclusive Prenatal Yoga Online Community where you can connect with fellow moms, join classes via the LIVE virtual room, and catch up on any missed classes with access to the recordings.
INSTRUCTOR: Andrea Coombs
Andrea is incredibly passionate about YOU having the empowered pregnancy and birth experience you deserve. Forever a student of yoga, Andrea has pursued additional training in Prenatal Yoga, Restorative and Trauma Sensitive Yoga, Hands-on Adjustments, Thai Yoga Massage, and Therapeutic Yoga. This background provides you not only with an excellent prenatal class experience but goes beyond to ensure each mother feels seen, heard, and cared for. Her life mission is to be a conduit for knowledge and wonder, and she is excited to share her love of yoga with her students. Being a twin mom herself, she taught yoga until 32 weeks of pregnancy and practiced yoga up to the day her daughters were born. Andrea knows first hand the benefit and value of yoga during this transformative time in your life.
